Last week my wife and I were able to take a little trip away, and we decided to go to one of my favorite places in the world: New York City. My mother- and sister-in-law were in town to watch Miles, so the trip was just about us. We got to reconnect, relax, shop, eat, drink and do many other fun NYC things. It was great.

Little did we know that Mother Nature was plotting against us.
