Escape From the City

I’m walking down one of many industrial streets in Chicago, away from the Story Conference, a gathering of creatives and storytellers meant to inspire us to use what we do towards a common purpose. For some reason, it’s having the opposite effect on me. I’m questioning the very purpose of what I do.
