I’m a fan of peacoats, so if someone told me that J. Crew was featuring a denim version, I admit I would be skeptical. But this sweet number from designer Mister Freedom does much to assuage my fears.
Modeled after a merchant Navy sailor’s jacket and finished with historically-accurate chain-stitched embroidery, this may be one of the easiest ways to stand out from the crowd this season.
